My First Post - What this Blog is All About!

Hello! :) Welcome to my new blog! I decided to start this blog as a place to share my thoughts, feelings, pictures, successes, positive outlooks, revelations, and all thing AdvoCare and fitness related!

Oh, and RUNNING!

There will be lots of posts about running and my challenges, triumphs, training plan, supplements, etc. as I train for the Indy Mini-Marathon (aka half marathon aka 13.1) that I am running in May. This will be my second half and I am super-excited to run it with my sister, McKenzie! Woot-woot!

Yeppers! Before&After. I've come a long way baby! And I am still on my JOURNEY to BETTER HEALTH --- every day is a new day! One step at a time! I will share more in future posts about my journey up to this point (boy, what a journey it has been!!!) but this is my 1st post in this new blog and my goal here is to provide a snapshot of my life and why YOU want to FOLLOW this blog! 

We will have lots of fun together!

More about me:) I am a wife (my hubby rocks!) and a mother of 3 -- my sons are 11 & 2 AND my stepson is 11 also -- yes, almost like having twins, but not quite! ;) I work FULL TIME.

My point is I am a buSy girl -- like so many of you!!! -- and there is no way to "find" time to exercise. It's IMPOSSIBLE! But I maKe time!

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE food!!!

It tastes good.
It smells good.
It makes me feel hAppY!

I had to learn (and I am STILL learning) how to eat to live instead of living to eat. I am learning how to eat health foods. I am learning how to use food to FUEL my BODY instead of to relieve my anxiety.

Exercise + Healthy Foods + Proper Supplement = Weight Loss. SUCCESS! Balance.

And really... that's what this blog is all about - it's about finding the BALANCE in YOUR life.

Finding that SWEET SPOT where you look and feel Your veRy best!

This blog is about happiness -- SMILE  :-) -- Don't worry, BE happy!

And peace. It's definitely about allowing for those peaceful moments in our daily lives.

And...

It's about finding your SeXy!

Think back to that time in your life where you were Living -- I mean ReAlly LIVING -- waking up in the morning excited for what the day would bring! You felt powerful. And STRONG. Empowered. BeAutiful.

Life just FLOWED.
